We stayed at the 8th floor. The staff was great - very nice and happy to help with questions about what to do in Salzburg. In case you rent a car, you should know the parking costs 20€ per night but that’s the standard in Salzburg and we knew it beforehand. The room was clean, the closets were well organised, the beds were very comfortable, the location was very close to the Hertz car rental office (also very recommended), to the bus and train stations, and was still VERY quiet at nights. The hotel has a nice bar that serves snack dishes, cocktails and sometimes plays live music. It was also a walking distance from the river and the old city and that way we could take nice evening walks to the old city, the Salzburg bridge etc. Recommended restaurants in the area - “Golden Kugel” on Judengasse street and the restaurant at the Imlauer Hotel Oh and they have a stand of fresh fruit at the reception lobby :)

Really new property. I was on 12th floor and had nice view looking to the west and Northern Alps. Shower was absolutely wonderful. Room was quiet from street noise. Bed was perfect and pillows had a couple choices. Hotel is about 500 feet from train station which was perfect for my early morning train departure. The main bus station is also about 500 feet across from the train station. I had the Salzburg Pass, so buses were free to me. I could walk from hotel to bus station and be on bus right to old town. I walked from Old Town twice and it was 15 minutes. This is one of the nicest rooms I've ever stayed in. I thought it was an exceptional deal for the price. The fabulous bus system that shows up on Google Maps with location and bus numbers, totally removed my impression I would be too far from old town. Super friendly staff !!

Great location for anyone using trains as it's super close to the Salzburg HBF (main station). It has a free gym and sauna. The bedroom is clean, cosy and quiet. People complaining about the lack of privacy in the bedroom clearly did not see the photos. Indeed, the shower is separated from the bed by a glass wall, but we knew it from looking at the photos. Also, some people complained about the lack of kettles in the bedroom and having to request one from the reception. For us that was also fine, because not everyone needs one and this guarantees the kettles are always well maintained and cleaned. Also loved the late check out time (12h). Finally, if you want to make the best out of your stay, request a room with a good view (the upper levels)

The location, since we were traveling by train, was perfect. It helped us explore the "non-turisty" area of Salzburg. It gave us opportunity to explore local restaurants and meet great local people. The hotel accommodation were excellent. The layout of our room was inspiring; industrial, and yet, contemporary. Next to Salzburg Central Station and yet was quiet, which allows you to rest during the night. When return to Salzburg, we would stay again at arteSalzburg.

Excellent location, just 2 mins walk from the train station and bus station. Clean room with nice view of the mountains and trains. The hotel is a high rise building, so if you choose a room on higher floor you can get a nice view of the castle and mountains behind it. The hotel also has a pretty decent breakfast buffet on top floor (which again gives an awesome view). A rooftop terrace and a bar is also available for guests.
